‘Fare thee well…’ is a common WhatsApp group description wherever some has passed on. You and I know and understand the reason behind the group creation is contribution. ‘Any amount for our brother’s or sister’s send off will be appreciated’ is all that is repeated day in day out. To make it worse, there is always a deadline placed for the contribution which is always a week or two.

Unlike WhatsApp created groups at last minute, KUPA-KENYA allows one to contribute for unforeseen eventualities like funerals as early as possible. This can only happen if one registers as a member and has taken a cover putting the categories in consideration. KUPA offers different services such as; transportation of the body, clothing of the body, payment of mortuary expenses, provision of executive coffin, trolley, gazebo tent and provision of the lowering gear.
Aside from that, the association also offers additional services such as; provision of 200 pieces of plastic chairs, public address and two 100 seater tents as low as 100 shillings er month. To unlock the additional services mentioned, a member is required to introduce three members who should remain active throughout.

- Choose lipa na mpesa
- Buy goods and services (nunua bidhaa)
- Enter till number (nambari ya duka) 958375
- Enter amount ksh. 200
- Your mpesa pin then send
