In as much as Kenya is the largest and the most developed in the Eastern and central Africa, approximately 37% of its population lives below the poverty line which is majorly caused by government corruption, economic inequality and health problems that has led to high rate of death. WHY KUPA…

‘Fare thee well…’ is a common WhatsApp group description wherever some has passed on. You and I know and understand the reason behind the group creation is contribution. ‘Any amount for our brother’s or sister’s send off will be appreciated’ is all that is repeated day in day out. To make it worse, there is always a deadline placed for the contribution which is always a week or two.

Come to think of it, does it mean every person expected to contribute has money at their disposal? What if everyone you hope to help turns their back on you? What happens next? Do you go for loans to lay your family member’s body in peace? Have you thought of a different way or means?

Unlike WhatsApp created groups at last minute, KUPA-KENYA allows one to contribute for unforeseen eventualities like funerals as early as possible. This can only happen if one registers as a member and has taken a cover putting the categories in consideration. KUPA offers different services such as; transportation of the body, clothing of the body, payment of mortuary expenses, provision of executive coffin, trolley, gazebo tent and provision of the lowering gear.
